Hydrangea macrophylla - Benelux 5cm pots

This variety has dark blue or deep pink flowers. A deciduous shrub. Their flower colour can be enhanced or altered depending on the soil – acid soils produce blue flowers, and alkaline soils produce red and pinks. Bursts forth first with glossy green leaves and then produces bunches of spectacular flowers from November to February (depending on your climate). Enjoys rich soil and a good supply of water. Part-shade is the optimal light requirement. Keep them in pots as long as you water well. Will require supplementary watering during the establishing period, and in dry areas. Fertilise when you plant and during the growing season with a fish emulsion liquid.
